Suspension Culture Production Line for Cultured Meat

Client:The pilot production line of a major international traditional livestock company.
Core Equipment:Two 100L-1000L suspension culture bioreactor production lines were built. Each line is equipped with a precise feeding system, a high-efficiency harvest system, and an automated control system.
Application Process
A serum-free suspension culture process is adopted, using animal-derived myoblasts as the seed cells, which are expanded step-by-step.
Process Control:The integrated feeding system provides precise supplementation of nutrients (e.g., glucose, amino acids) based on PID control algorithms. The system maintains a stable environment with pH 6.8-7.2 and DO 40%-60% to support high-density cell growth.
Harvest & Separation:In the late stage of culture, the high-efficiency harvest system achieves rapid solid-liquid separation of cells from the medium, with a post-harvest cell viability rate of over 95%.
Project Results
Capacity Breakthrough:With two lines running in parallel, over 1.2×10⁹ muscle cells can be harvested per batch, resulting in an annual output of over 2 tons of cultured meat base material.
Significant Advantages:Compared to traditional animal husbandry, the production cycle is shortened by 80%, and the product is free from hormones and antibiotic residues.
Safety & Compliance:The supporting equipment enables fully aseptic operation, laying a core equipment foundation for the industrial mass production of cultured meat.
