Production
1. Project Background
A livestock vaccine manufacturer sought to upgrade the upstream production line for Classical Swine Fever (CSF) vaccine. The core objectives were to improve the efficiency and stability of viral culture, reduce energy consumption, and adapt to the demand for medium-to-small batch production. After evaluation, the company selected our 50L fixed-bed (sheet-carrier) bioreactor along with supporting upstream equipment.
2. Equipment Application
The bioreactor features a high-efficiency sheet-carrier design that provides an extensive surface area, ideal for the adherent growth of CSF virus host cells (such as ST cells), while optimizing gas-liquid mass transfer efficiency.
During production, the system precisely controls critical parameters including temperature, pH, and dissolved oxygen (DO). The integrated media preparation and cell seeding equipment ensures a seamless workflow, effectively supporting high-density cell proliferation and efficient viral replication.

3. Project Results
Since commissioning, the production line has demonstrated significant improvements:
Increased Efficiency: The culture cycle for the CSF virus was shortened by 15%, cell density increased by 20%, and the yield of vaccine bulk increased by 18% compared to the original equipment.
Cost Reduction: Energy consumption was reduced by 22%. The user-friendly operation minimized errors caused by manual intervention.
Stable Quality: The production line is currently running stably, and the vaccine product quality fully complies with national standards for veterinary biologics, effectively enhancing the enterprise's market supply capacity.
